Welcome to the new DatingAgency.com design

Welcome to our new design. We hope you will enjoy using the site with its new look. Here is what we have done, and why:

Colour scheme

First of all we have redesigned our entire look and feel. We have done away with the old "blue" colours, making way for a slightly warmer red and brown-toned look. This we hope will be attractive and slightly more soothing. We recognise that many members use our site for long periods of time so this is important.

The old DatingAgency.com design

Logo

We have introduced a new logo - the DA logo you see at the top-left of your screen. This we hope will give our design more visual impact and will enable customers to remember us more easily.

We have also brought out our name "DatingAgency.com" and made this much more prominent on the page. This is so that people don't forget who we are and newcomers to the site understand instantly what we're all about.

Side menus and top menus

We have removed the side menu. This was very cluttered, having been added to many times over the years. Now we have one main top menu which contains links to the major parts of the site that you will use all the time. And if you are logged the secondary top menu will appear, with links to your personal areas of the site, such as the "My messages" page, "My profile", and so on. We have also removed the ad on the right-hand side as this was proving distracting to some customers.

More focus

We hope that our new design, by removing many of the distracting and busy page elements of our old design, will allow you to focus more easily on achieving your site goals. These are, meeting, messaging, and chatting with other members.

Larger text

We have increased the font-size of the standard fonts used throughout the site. We hope this will make it easier for all members to read and digest the information on our pages. Our old font was rather small for the web and perhaps a little too difficult to read for some members.

Faster page-loading

Because we have removed so much graphical content, we hope you will find our pages load slightly faster and appear on your screen slightly quicker.
