Hmmm ... well, that''s what my old best mate from back at school chose to write when he thought he’d set me up an entry on here - I''m quite chuffed with that actually!

Anyway, since I''m here I might as well try to do it right eh?

After ten years I''ve already found blissful relief from the never ending stream of pap on the telly that the ex-wife-to-be would spend her evenings immersed in, and instead have been spending my newly found “me time” in the happy pursuit of something that I’ve heard friends refer to as "a life" ... I’ve taken a new job because I found something that I wanted to do (rather than because it made sense) and I’m looking forward to getting a new house and a new start. It’s all coming back to me now and whilst I never was a “clubbing” kind of person it would be nice to meet up with someone that I could share time out with as a friend first and foremost and if anything more comes of it then great, if not then we’ve had some (hopefully) good company and a pleasant time...

They say that things don’t grow so well at high altitudes and it must be right (well at least it’s the theory I’m sticking with) because I gave in fairly recently and blitzed the hair with clippers … it had been getting thinner and thinner over the years (since my mid twenties) and it was either that or my granddads’ comb-over so I took the lesser of the two evils … no, no pics of the new “barnet” to post up as I’m usually the one behind the camera and it took long enough to find those ones to post up!

I’m told that I have a good sense of humour and that I can be an outrageous flirt … maybe that’s true, I can certainly get quite extrovert and larger than life in the right company … I am still a big fella but usually get referred to as “huggable” or “teddy bear” - which I’m not sure how to take but for my own peace of mind / ego I’ll regard as being positive - and in conjunction with the recent clippers experience (above) I’m told I lean more towards the “night club bouncer” than the “1970’s darts player” look. :-D Anyway, after the obtaining of the aforementioned “life” things are heading back in the right direction and at 6’3” I’m always going to stand out in a crowd. At the same time though I must also be in touch with my feminine side as I know that Haagen Dazs can be so much more than just icecream… ;-)
