I'm here to date, honest I am....But I keep getting sidetracked
 | because everyone's so lovely on DA, especially those that join in conversations, I spend all my time chatting on msn or threads to friends I've made on them,( male and female) and forget to look/search for anyone else!!
Should I just carry on making friends and chatting and enjoying all the fun and let whatever's going to happen (if anything!) happen naturally as you would in fleshyland, or should I get down to the serious business of actively looking for a date?
What do you do?
What works for you?
Answers on a postcard please ;-) Shar xx |
 | Hi there Shar,
Well, I would say carry on chatting and let things happen naturally, i.e. the fleshyland route (what a wonderful expression!) You can find out a lot about people before diving in and risking a possible disappointment if someone is not what they make themselves out to be. I'm on here to make friends as I'm not looking for a boyfriend but have had some lovely compliments and lots of messages. A few "me Tarzan, you Janes" of course but that's to be expected! Good luck - things happen when you least expect them to and who knows what's round the corner? LM x |
 | Forget dating and get dunking :p

 | Hello Shar
I guess sweetie you have to find a happy medium but in the meantime keep searching for you never know your ideal man may appear on the threads one day....! O :) |
 | I think most of us that are on here are here to date so your not alone!!! |
 | Just checking Shar....I'm just about to start a thread, wondered if you had the same idea...but no!

 | some start with lust
And turn to dust
Sorry, wrong thread |
 | Want to borrow my feather duster, Keith? |
 | Oooer Keith...*blush* Dust *cough* LOL!!! |
 | Ophelia - do you want to borrow my inhaler ?
Keith - behave yourself :-)
Shar - definately coming to the conclusion it's best to chat & make friends in the circles you enjoy. Hopefully Mr Right (as in your/my right!) will hopefully cross the path whilst we are out doing something we enjoy.
Sending you hugs

 | Hi Shar...now I've actually read your thread! Sorry, just skimmed it before...
Well, I used to run things more like a military campaign...I didn't take prisoners!
But now I'm much more relaxed about it, I chat, I joke, and get the same results...
Keith |
 | Yes Keith I remember!! Think it's better to be relaxed, more fun!
And thank you for reading my thread, fancy skimming it before
I don't know what will I do with you Bro ;-0 xx
