Silly secrets

I guess we've all come across those who are prone to exagerate their age or height and yes Shar out of date or fictitious photos are common. Also marital status can be conveniently forgotten.

I've not encountered this myself but I've heard many stories of men, presumably transvestites, posing as women on the sites they are using and turning up on dates dressed as women!

When I joined this site I was totally honest in my profile and expected everyone on here to be the same.....I was nieve back then!!!!

I am still honest in my profile but have learnt not to believe all that I see or read.

Congratulations on your divorce Pepper, I joined that club last week but wasn't totally sure if it was something to celebrate or not......but do like the idea of being single again.

All my anecdotes would be ancient...now when I was a lad you didn't get a profile, let alone a photo...

I haven't had any nasty surprises on internet dating, but if you get me talking about my pre-internet Dateline experiences...

Anyway, as I say, that's ancient history.

In fact, internet dating is for wimps. I've had dates where we've had a good time even though we realised from the outset we wouldn't want to meet again, and I've met women who exceeded my starry-eyed expectations.

What they thought of me would be the subject of a thread I'm not likely to start.

I dont have much expirience in internet dating sites but i can tell you for sure that girls lie even in the meatspace . my last g/f was a bag of lies and nothin else .

i have not lied on my profile .it clearly says what i beleive in .my motto is to forget the past and take each day as it comes and to live life to it's fullest .
