Hi Poppy,i upped sticks when my ex left,moved to new area,did have a job offer,was scary at first-doing things on my own,
Luckily it worked for me and i'm happy where i am now-so yea would recommend it,ya never know whats out there till ya try.
Oh and went on hol on my own for the first time last year too-had a lovely time.

I went on Collussus at Thorpe Park (or is it Chessington? I've been trying to blank it out) I went upside-down for the first time (aged 43) I didn't like it at the time cos it hurt my ears and afterwards my ears hurt and I wouldn't do it again (cos I rather like my ears)

I've come out of my shell and done a few things I would never have when I was with my ex. It's fantastic to find your inner strength and to realise you can be in control of your own destiny.

Shame you don't live nearer to make the Manchester meet tomorrow, it would have been great to have met you.

Sure would be great Poppy but all my dosh is going on hotel and flights for the great North Run...also going to a Baby Shower tomorow-the third one at work having a Boy-phew good job i'm passed all that.

Going on my first date after 20 years - that definitely was outisde my comfort zone !!!!!

How did I feel before? nervously excited.

How did I feel afterwards? Relieved when I got home and locked the door behind me. Glad to be back in my comfort zone.

Would I recommend doing something out of my comfort zone? yes. The buzz it gave me was a welcome change.

Trekking through a jungle known to have land mines dropped in the area. We saw some kids who'd had their legs blown off from standing on a land mine. I must admit it was a very emotional time. Kind of hits home when you see them in the flesh not just on TV.

Pinoccio it's a party women have when they're expecting a baby where other women come along and give the baby presents before it's born.
