sorry you had a bad time, but please dont tar all men with the same brush, I keep hearing the same thing from women, men dont want commitment, dont want long term & only looking for fun, the problem is that when a good guy comes along no one believes him, he's either too good to be true or the real you will come out one day,
if women think all men are players, only after one thing, and a total let down, when one comes along that is genuine, caring, and will treat you with respect, no one will believe him and he'll slip through your fingers, there are good guys around, but their voices are not loud enough to be heard,

Can't speak for evryone else on here, but I've come across my fair share of players.............and some downright weirdos! But although I might have been wary I never tarred all men with the same brush - each new relationship was just that - new.

And as Jue says - it works both ways - some odd women around!!

as you can see i know men have suffered to as i said this thread was aimed at men as well as women who have gone through bad times . he is a good guy and defo not a player i am sure about that .just maybe worried about making a commitment so maybe thats where the just friends crept in , who knows he may change his mind and see just what we had .
but i am ok in my self so i am looking forward instead of standing still now lol
still love him though and as he said he loves me big time .
who knows where we are going to end up lol

I got stung once, not so long ago, still waiting for the 3 grand he owes for my car I let him have on the understanding he paid me 4 wks later, that was Jan 08,he actually sold the car on,2 bounced cheques from him, the man has no shame, anyone any ideas how to recover my loss, as I still annoyed about it now, solicitors fees are out of reach at the mo.....

yep, funny what love can do, as I nearly actually met him sat night to talk things through, silly man went and sent his other babe(ha) a text saying staying at Dads, miss you babe xxxx,
And there was me thinking I was stupid.......

I know my heart will mend, but my bank balance wont recover so quick.
I can only advise Tracey that friends and time will help and a good natter with a friend at a Costa Coffee with a Mocca Flake really does give you a comfort, dont forget the chocolate twist pastry.....
