Weekend !!What's in store for you?!
 | Well the weekend is upon us once again and I find myself with the predicament of nothing planned.
I had a call froom my friend asking if the family could borrow my dog for the weekend, which leavs me with no responsibilities for a whole weekend, allowing me to go anywhere and do anything I wish, without having to think of him first.......... Great you might think, but so far I have no plans and it looks like I'm resigned to be home alone.
Why is it that when you have the opportunity to do anything you like, there is nothing worthwhile on offer, and when you can't, you are inundated with invitations?!!
Oh well, looks like a weekend of gardening will have to suffice....

 | Hi Passion8
I used to hate it if I didn't have anything planned for the weekend, but now I just love it, usually something happens or gets arranged out of the blue and I normally have a better time than planned events.
Also when I've had a busy weekend like I did last weekend (very enjoyable it was too!) I enjoy the thought of a quiet weekend all the more :)

 | Passion - a weekend of gardening sounds fab, lots to do out there at the moment to keep you busy.
I've lots on this weekend, out both days and in both nights with various things on. A few chores to do tonight - when I can get motivated to get on with them! Film later - picked up 'Three And Out' which looks pretty good, just fancied something lighthearted for a change, been watching heavy films recently!
If you get bored you can come and do my weeding ;) Oh I've cooking to do tomorrow evening too for dinner and the freezer.
Washing up, bathroom cleaning, plant watering, hoovering...
It's a gorgeous sunset evening here, hopefully that means another lovely day tomorrow :) |
 | Hi Passion8,
anything you do on a weekend off is worthwhile, whether you keep active every minute or just lounge around & do nothing,
It's your time & you use it how you wish,
John

 | i got hold of If and O lucky man! dvds recently - was looking forward to night of surreal lindsay anderson but alas, dvd player is knackered, so i bought a lovely cashmere overcoat which i'm wearing now, feeling like Withnail, or I |
 | For me it was a pleasant surprise that I ended up having a weekend in Yorkshire, walking the dogs on a sunny beach, enjoying the cliff tops, fish and chips, an excellent meal on Saturday, and better still, sharing it with someone that was glad to be with me - not the dogs on this occaision, though they were happy too !!
Funny how going into a weekend not knowiing what's to happen, helps make it special !! |
 | I often have a weekend in Yorkshire, a pleasant surprise for me would be to be somewhere else!
A lovely day today, and I have the week off...the weather won't last, so I'd better seize this carp. |
 | Worked saturday doing some rather nice explosions in a field in Ipswich!! Sunday was a paid day off so I popped over to have coffee and a chat with our very own feministica...gorgous weather and a fun weekend even though my ears are still ringing!!
