In short
We checked four agencies and matchmakers serving Perth on their own websites on 20 October 2026. Three list Perth addresses; one serves Perth from Melbourne. Only that one publishes a price: A$350 per successful introduction. Western Australia has no agency-specific cooling-off rule, so get the fee and refund terms in writing. DatingAgency.com is not an agency.

Perth has a small number of matchmakers that are genuinely based here, plus national firms reaching in. We list four that say on their own websites that they serve Perth: three with Perth addresses and one that serves the city from Melbourne. Everything comes from each firm's own website as it read on 20 October 2026, and its own documents take precedence over our summary. No listing is paid for and none carries an affiliate link.
Who's working in Perth right now
Solutions Matchmaking
The most locally rooted of the four. Solutions Matchmaking Pty Ltd says it was established in 1995 and is "100% WA owned and operated", with an office at Suite 3A, Astor Arcade, 665 Beaufort Street, Mount Lawley. Its phone line is open 8am to 8pm, seven days a week. It sorts members into groups, including Busy Singles, Empty Nesters, Active Retirees and Twilight Years, and its Country Contacts group welcomes members from all over Western Australia. It offers a no-obligation consultation, and says sending in your profile for review "costs you nothing".
Louanne Ward Matchmaking
A Perth matchmaker with two addresses: Suite 5, 531 Hay Street, Subiaco, and 1 Cathedral Avenue, Perth. Its service starts with a discovery session, then it searches its own database and outside networks, discusses each potential match with you, and arranges the date only once you've approved the match. It speaks to you after every date. It also offers styling, makeovers and date coaching, and mentions clients who work shifts or FIFO rosters.
Make sure you're on the firm's own site, louannewardmatchmaking.com.au. When we checked, the similar address louanneward.com.au showed an unrelated template page rather than the agency.
HYTCH Private Search
A matchmaker with a Perth office at Level 25, Capital Square Tower 3, 1 Spring Street, and others in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Its Perth page calls it "Perth's most exclusive matchmaker service". It offers matchmaking for men, women and LGBTI+ clients, with paid VIP and Private memberships and a free Open Membership for women aged 25 to 70, whose profiles are considered for introductions to paying members. It says its clients are women aged 25 to 70 and men aged 35 to 75.
Find Fit Love
A Melbourne-based matchmaker for active, health-minded singles, with a Perth page but no Perth address. It says plainly that "Perth is a newer city for us than Melbourne and Sydney", which is the kind of candour worth rewarding with a direct question: how many people in your age range does it already know here? Applying is free and you pay only when an introduction goes ahead.
Prices side by side, with the date we checked
| Agency | Published price | What the price covers | Checked |
|---|---|---|---|
| Find Fit Love | A$350 per successful introduction; free to apply | Charged once both people agree; no fee if you decline first | 20 Oct 2026 |
| Solutions Matchmaking | Not published | Profile review is free; it mentions a discount for joining online, without amounts | 20 Oct 2026 |
| Louanne Ward Matchmaking | Not published | Starts with a free compatibility search | 20 Oct 2026 |
| HYTCH Private Search | Not published for VIP or Private; Open Membership for women is free | Its FAQ says both paid memberships include a promise of introductions | 20 Oct 2026 |
With three of the four keeping prices for the consultation, go in knowing what you can afford, and ask for the fee and payment schedule in writing before you commit. Our guide to whether a matchmaker is worth it shows how to compare a membership fee with a per-introduction price.
How each one vets the people you'll meet
- Find Fit Love says it checks identity through an independent third-party process, an ID and selfie check, before any introduction, and doesn't keep licence or passport images on file. It says people who misrepresent themselves are removed and not refunded.
- HYTCH says it is "strict about meeting all potential matches in person" before presenting them.
- Louanne Ward Matchmaking says its matches are pre-screened and have been ID checked, but doesn't say how.
- Solutions Matchmaking says it meets members face to face and that its profiles carry "no old, out of date or shopped photos". Its online form asks applicants to declare any criminal record.
A face-to-face meeting and a current photo are worth having. They don't confirm that someone is single, or that what they said about their job or age is true. Our guide to how agencies vet members explains what to ask for.
What the fee actually buys you
Find Fit Love is the only one of the four that publishes its terms in any detail: no fee if you decline before a date is set; a credit towards your next introduction if the other person cancels; a full credit or a replacement if they don't turn up; and, for misrepresentation or safety problems, a replacement or refund depending on the situation.
The three Perth-based firms don't publish membership lengths, numbers of introductions or refund terms on the pages we read, and Solutions Matchmaking doesn't link to any terms at all. That isn't unusual, but it means the written agreement you're offered is the only place those answers will be. Ask for it before you pay and take it home to read.
The rules that protect you in Western Australia
We haven't found rules written specifically for introduction agencies in Western Australia. The state's list of fair trading regulations includes codes for other industries but none for introduction agencies; Queensland and Victoria are the states that have them. The national Australian Consumer Law applies: a service must be provided with due care and skill and within a reasonable time, and if it isn't, remedies can include cancellation and a refund.
If an agency phoned you, came to your door or approached you in public without being invited, and the agreement is worth more than $100, you have 10 business days to cancel. That doesn't apply if you contacted the agency first, which is how most people start. So in Perth, the cancellation terms in your contract matter more than they would in Brisbane or Melbourne. Our guide to dating agencies in Australia compares the states, and contracts and refunds covers what to look for in the small print.
What to ask at your first consultation
- What is the full fee, including GST, and when is each part due?
- How many introductions will I get, and over what period?
- Does a match I decline count as an introduction?
- How many current members fit what I'm looking for, by age and by area?
- Do you check ID? Anything else, such as relationship status?
- Can I pause my membership if I meet someone, or if I'm away on a roster?
- If I change my mind next week, what do I get back?
Question 4 matters in a state this size: someone in Joondalup and someone in Mandurah are both "Perth" to an agency. Our full list of questions and what happens at the first interview will help you prepare, and the warning signs guide covers pressure to sign on the day.
If something goes wrong
| Problem | Where to go |
|---|---|
| The agency won't cancel or refund | Write to it citing your contract; then Consumer Protection on 1300 30 40 54 |
| You paid by card and the service wasn't provided | Your bank or card provider, which may be able to help |
| An introduction asks you for money | Don't pay; tell the agency, report it to Scamwatch, and to ReportCyber if you've lost money or personal information |
| You feel unsafe | Leave, and call 000 in an emergency or WA Police on 131 444 otherwise |
If you've already paid a scammer, call your bank straight away. Our safety guide has more.
Our own online service, listed separately
DatingAgency.com is not one of the agencies above. We run an online dating service where you do the searching yourself: nobody interviews members or picks matches. Joining, making a profile and browsing are free; reading and replying to messages needs a paid membership that renews until you cancel. Profiles are shared with partner sites in the same network, and what members write about themselves isn't checked. How our service works and our prices give the details.

Questions people ask
How much does a dating agency cost in Perth?
Only one of the four firms we checked on 20 October 2026 publishes a price: Find Fit Love charges A$350 per successful introduction, and applying is free. The three Perth-based firms quote fees at a consultation, so ask for the full price and payment schedule in writing.
Is there a cooling-off period for dating agencies in Western Australia?
We found no cooling-off rule written for introduction agencies in WA, unlike Queensland and Victoria. If the agency approached you uninvited and the deal is worth more than $100, you have 10 business days to cancel. Otherwise you rely on the contract and the Australian Consumer Law.
Can a Perth agency help if I work FIFO or live in the country?
Some say so. Solutions Matchmaking says it welcomes members from all areas of Western Australia through its Country Contacts group, and Louanne Ward Matchmaking mentions shift workers and FIFO rosters. Ask how many current members live within reach of you.
Which Perth matchmaker is best?
We don't rank them: nobody can test agencies fairly without being a client of each. Compare them on members in your age range and area, how they check people, what counts as an introduction, the full fee and the refund terms.
Is DatingAgency.com one of the agencies listed?
No. We are not an agency and nobody here picks matches. Our online dating service appears in its own section, labelled as ours.
