In short
DatingAgency.com's online service is a dating site, not an agency: you make a profile, browse and choose whom to contact yourself. Joining, making a profile and browsing are free; reading and replying to messages needs a paid membership that renews until cancelled. Profiles are shared with partner sites in the same network. It is run by High Intent Media Inc.

Most of this website explains dating agencies and matchmakers. This page is about the one thing we run ourselves: an online dating service. We keep the two apart because they are very different products, and it would be misleading to let the name blur them.
What it is, and what it isn't
It is a dating site. You create a profile, browse other members' profiles and decide whom to contact. Nobody at DatingAgency.com interviews you, interviews other members, hand-picks introductions or arranges dates. If that's the service you're looking for, read agency, matchmaker or dating site first, then our guide to choosing a dating agency.
The online service is run by High Intent Media Inc. The members area, where your profile and messages live, has its own terms and privacy policy.
Who it suits, and who it doesn't
A dating site suits people who are happy to do their own searching and would rather pay a membership than an agency fee.
| It may suit you if | It probably won't if |
|---|---|
| You like choosing whom to contact | You want someone to choose for you |
| You want to try online dating at low cost | You want every person interviewed before you meet |
| You're comfortable judging profiles yourself | You want introductions arranged and feedback after dates |
Getting started
- Join. You'll need an email address, a password and your date of birth. You must be 18 or over.
- Make your profile. Add a photo (one is usually required) and a few lines about yourself. Photos are reviewed. Profile details include who you're looking for, an age range and distance, and optional details such as religion, languages, children, smoking and drinking.
- Browse. Look through members' profiles. This is free.
- Message. To read and reply to messages you need a paid membership. Our prices page shows the current options.
What's free and what's paid
| Free | With a paid membership |
|---|---|
| Joining and making a profile | Reading messages |
| Adding photos | Replying to messages |
| Browsing profiles (with ads) | Read receipts |
| Seeing who has viewed you, and likes | |
| Viewing photos in full |
Who you'll see: shared profiles
Profiles are shared across a network of partner sites that use the same members platform. In practice this means members who joined through another site in the network can see your profile and message you, and you can see and message them. A profile shows which site its owner joined through. We tell you this upfront because it affects who sees your photos and words.
What is checked, and what isn't
- Photos are reviewed.
- What members write about themselves (age, job, relationship status, where they live) is not checked.
- ID verification is available as an optional paid badge, done by LEM Verify using a photo ID and a selfie. It is required only for some sign-ups, for example if you join through a VPN or an account is flagged.
So a badge tells you someone has proved their identity; its absence tells you nothing either way. Treat every profile with the ordinary care set out in our safety guide, and never send money to someone you've met online.
Paying, renewing and cancelling
Memberships renew automatically until you cancel. To stop renewal, go to Settings > Billing in the members area, and do it before the next renewal date. Optional extras, such as profile boosts, are sold separately; the prices page explains them.
The checkout shows the billing name that will appear on your card or bank statement. It may not say DatingAgency.com, so make a note of it when you pay.
To delete your account entirely, click your avatar, then Settings > Delete Account. Log-in help covers passwords and access problems, and the key facts page puts all of this on one page.

Questions people ask
Will someone match me with people?
No. Nobody interviews members or picks matches on our online service. You search and decide whom to contact. If you want someone to do that for you, you need an agency or matchmaker, and our guides explain how to choose one and what to ask before you pay.
Can people on other sites see my profile?
Yes. Profiles are shared with partner sites in the same network, so members of those sites can see your profile and message you, and you may see and hear from them. Each profile shows which site its owner joined through, so you can tell where someone signed up.
Are profiles checked?
Photos are reviewed. What members write about themselves, such as age, job or relationship status, is not checked. ID verification is an optional paid badge, and is required only in some cases, such as signing up through a VPN or if an account is flagged. So treat every profile with ordinary care.
Which countries can join?
Sign-ups are accepted from the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada, South Africa, Portugal, Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man. Prices are shown in US dollars wherever you join from, and your bank converts them if your card is in another currency.
What do I get with a membership?
A membership lets you read and reply to messages. It also unlocks read receipts, seeing who has viewed you, likes and viewing photos in full. Free members can browse and see ads. Optional extras, such as boosts, are sold separately; our prices page shows the current options.
